2nd Grade - Mrs. Adair

Hello You Amazing Class! Welcome to 2nd Grade!
We are having school still, just through a different method.  Through www.seesaw.com, you can see each others' faces, hear each others' voices, and observe each others' work.
Assignments will be posted in several ways.  You can visit  www.seesaw.com or google classroom.  Please upload your assignments to google classroom.  That way it can be graded.
Over to the right, you will see the student weekly lesson plan.  On the Bitmoji classroom lesson plans themselves you can click items to access the web sites including ELA, math,  and others for the morning schedule.   Remember that you are doing the best you can and you are doing a great job!  Feel free to use the other links as well, and there is an additional link button for a list of free books online, educational sites, worksheets and more as needed.  Worksheets for timed math and reading fluency will be available via www.seesaw.com or dojo.  Click on "Clearing the Cache" in case the site doesn't open.  This has happened on occasion.
Important: Parents, students must log into myON one time before we can assign any activities to your child.  Please click on the How-to mini video myON listed to the right of this message, in order to help your child log on.  A short parent video is provided.
You do not have to use all the sites in the Link tab, but they are available for your student to use.
classdojo.com me when you have questions.  My office hours are   will provide her office hours as well.  We will also notify you of our virtual work days for each week.
Please visit Class DoJo, and Seesaw often, and refer to the lesson plans every Monday.  The links to the right, will help connect you to where your student needs to go.
Be safe:) Be well:)
Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year!
I am so excited to be your child's teacher.  Here are a few things about myself: I received my B.A. in Psychology at UC Irvine, and earned two credentials and a Masters in Special Education at CSU Dominguez Hills.  I have taught for over 25 years.  The grades I have taught are Pre-K, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 6th, 7th, and 8th.  I have experience in special education, behavior intervention, and I was a learning specialist for quite some years.  I enjoy traveling with my family, walking my dog, gardening, and riding my bike.  I do hope I make a difference in your child's life.  Please feel free to contact me through seesaw, google classroom or school email.
Best wishes for a wonderful year!
