The district is participating in a grant-funded threat assessment training program sponsored by the Orange County Department of Education, local law enforcement, and Knowledge Saves Lives.

The four-hour training will involve district staff and law enforcement personnel and include active shooter simulation drills with simulated gunfire that may be heard in the area surrounding the school. An announcement will be made over the school’s public address system prior to and at the conclusion of the simulated gunfire.
