Hello, Bulldogs!
Vessel Elementary School is an excellent place for kids to learn and grow, and 2024/25 promises to be an action-packed school year full of learning and growth! This year’s theme is “Imagine.” We will work together as a team to continue providing top-notch instruction and social-emotional support to ensure that each child is equipped with the confidence and a growth mindset to tackle any challenge that may come their way. We also look forward to continuing our strong partnerships with the community.
We have a lot to be proud of here at Vessels. Congratulations to our students, staff, and community for being named a 2023/24 California Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) Platinum Medal winner for promoting positivity and inclusivity throughout the campus. The honor is a testament to our collective efforts and the positive environment we have fostered on our campus. The staff’s award-winning focus on social-emotional learning and the whole-child approach to education creates a healthy and balanced student body primed to exceed all expectations.

At Vessels, our dedicated staff provides focused and targeted reading, writing, math, and small group instruction, encouraging students to collaborate and actively participate in their learning. We use the prompts of depth and complexity in all grade levels to deepen student understanding and promote critical dialogue around concepts and text. We also have a robust STEM program with a robotics component for upper-grade students along with a thriving musical theater program for students in the fourth through sixth grades. Most of all, we have fun! Fun is essential to the elementary school experience and something we deeply value!
Our parent community is one of a kind. We work hand-in-hand as partners in the education of our scholars. The Vessels PTA provides vital support and the “extras” that create a dynamic experience for all. They are instrumental in raising funds for technology, field trips, assemblies, and other enrichment activities to support our school program.
Vessels Elementary School is a special place, and I am thrilled for the new year and know that together, 2024/25 will be the best year ever!
